People taking the course can use their computers or smartphones to report their attendance.
You can also manually check the attendance.
Log in to ISTU and open any course home. Click Offline-Attendance (出席簿).
When there is no setting, it will be displayed as "No Weeks has been selected (「週次管理」で出欠日を設定してください。)".
Click Move week manage週次管理移動.
Click Add date/period (日/講時追加).
Set the date and other parameters. Click Add date/period (日/講時追加).
Go to tab Attendance management (出席管理).
Check the date you want to confirm your attendance. If it is correct, click Automatic attendance start (自動出欠開始).

If you have registered a number of settings, please make sure that you do not mistake the date.
Once you have determined the allowed time, click Save (保存).
Click Save to start the countdown(①). Give Authentication number (認証番号)(②) to the people who will be taking the course.

If Automatic attendance doesn't work or you don't want to use it, you can select it manually.
When you are done with Automatic attendance, click on Save (保存). The saved data will be stored in Offline-Attendance (出席簿).
Operations to be performed by the learner
Go to the course you want to take and click on Offline-Attendance (出席簿).
If you enter Give Authentication number (認証番号) and click Attendance(出席), the status will be Attendance even for teachers.
